Weighing dark lenses with Gaia
Only one isolated stellar-mass black hole is known. When a dark object passes in front of a star it brightens the star and also shifts its position by a fraction of a milliarcsecond, and the shift reveals the lens mass. Can Gaia DR4's first per-transit positions weigh the lenses of Oddsky's own long microlensing events?
